Student Responsibilities
Students agree to the following rules and responsibilities:
· Students agree to meet with their mentee at least one hour per week for a minimum of twelve months. (summer programming is optional)
· Students agree to let the School Liaison or relevant school personal know if they are not going to be at school during a time their mentor is scheduled to visit.
· Students agree to do thier best at home, school, and in the community.
· Students agree to be courteous and respecful with their mentor, school staff, and Project Connect staff.
· Students agree that all in-person contact with their mentor is restricted to school grounds, unless they have parental permission and permission from the School Liaison to meet away from school grounds.
· Students understand it is okay to freely talk about all conversations and meetings with their mentors with their parent/guardian, teacher, and School Liaison. (Students agree not to keep secrets about the meetings with their mentor)
· Students agree to inform the School Liaison of any changes in phone numbers, addresses, and schedules.
· Students agree to contribute ideas and help plan activates that students and mentors can do together when they meet.
· Students agree to not ask mentors to buy them gifts.
· Students agree to support the overall program of Project Connect and adhere to their policies and procedures.
